How Secure Are You ? 

 

Every day about 175 million people login to Facebook and other social networking sites

Ofcouse they make sure that all your data are secure, but have you ever thought what all things you should do, to make sure that your account is safe and secure?  

Well if you don’t know, stop worrying. Today I’ll give you some nice tips to make your account secure

Below  are some tips , make sure that you fallow all of them , and by the way today I’ll give you only general security tips and Facebook security  tips , rest , I’ll write in my next blog .

Tip 1: Password  

How strong is your password? Ask this to yourself...

You know what? 80% of the people user their “NAME” “DOB” “PHONE NUMBER” as their password.

These are the easy picks for the hackers.

Use a strong password make sure that your password is a mixture of Numbers, alphabets and some special characters like “@” , “#” etc .,

Never use same password for different networks, if one of your account is hacked then say good bye to others ;)

Tip2: Friends 

 Say NO to unknown, never accept unknown friends, they may tamper your account, Get to know your friends better be safe

Tip3: Never click

Never click on any unknown links, they may take the password form your browser, and if by clicking on some link if you’re prompt to type E-mail ID and password NEVER type until you know that site is secure

Tip4: Antivirus

If your running your PC without any antivirus, your are in trouble.

First go grab any free antivirus there are dozens of then for your ease I’m giving you some links

Tip5: FB Security

Login to your Facebook account go to Account settings you will find the tab as the image below 

                     

Make sure that “SECURED BROWSING” is enabled

And enable Login Notification, so that whenever you login you will get a text message, in case if someone else login you will get sms and you will have the link to recover it back  

Tip6: Last Tip 

Keep changing your passwords frequently like after every month

Never share your password, even with your best friends or

It’s your Network its shows who you are, I’m sure that no one wants to lose themselves
